Master of Ceremonies ~ Brock Tully

Volunteer Executive Producer of this World Kindness Concert and co-founder of Kindness Foundation of Canada, Brock Tully is an inspirational speaker, and author of the "Reflection" book series. For decades Brock has generated international headlines for his provocative presentations and statements on kindness. Brock has organized many inspiring community events including "One of a KIND Stories " and co-produced "Kindness Rocks ". Anna Beaumont

Anna's musical journey has taken her through many doors of the world through many musical styles from jazz, celtic and musical theatre and into her current project, "The Doorway", songs inspired by the mystical poetry of Rumi and Hafiz. She is also the creator and facilitator of "Express Yourself" Workshops, using singing as a tool for freedom.  Anna is thrilled to be invited to this beautiful event and to share in the healing vibrations of all these amazing artists.“Anna Beaumont is a courageous and inspiring adventurer of the soul through sound and song. Ivan Boudreau

From the Acadian heritage of Nova Scotia, the musical influences of the greater Boston area, Toronto’s thriving 70’s and 80’s scene and finally the West Coast's bursting country circuit, singer-songwriter Ivan Boudreau has blended a life and variety of music into honest and well-crafted songs. His songs describe many of the simple emotions and gut-wrenching feelings we all experience.With a background as a bass player, Ivan has performed with a virtual "who’s who" of North American artists. Ivan has also been quietly working on his skills as a writer, and his songs are delivered with a definitive relaxed style and easy acoustic approach.

Denise Hagan

Denise Hagan is a Sacred singer song-writer from Ireland. She writes and performs pieces to help people remember their innermost nature and to inspire them to live from that place. Her work has taken Her around Europe and the U.K and now more recently to us here in BC.
October sees her off on tour across Canada with local inspirational author Ted Kuntz after which she begins work on Her 4th Album.
Denise’s work has drawn the attention of many in the Spiritual world. Lee Carroll of Kryon loves her work as does Neale Donald Walsche and JamesTwyman. James recently had this to say:
“Denise’s voice is like a crystalline express train to the Soul..it takes me right into my Soul space everytime !”

Tiffany Hambrook

Motivated to inspire and move people with her voice, Tiffany sang her way into people’s hearts at the World Kindness Concert 2005. She was cast as the lead in the musical "How I Became Queen".  Tiffany sang and tapped with much delight in the role of Anytime Annie in 42nd Street with the Royal City Musical Theatre at the Massey Theatre. Tiffany toured with the Nearly Neil and the Solitary Band, and in The Shagadelic Swingers, touring Bosnia and entertaining Canadian Troops. Tiffany dreamed of singing and dancing since she was a little girl and began performing as a member of the Young Canadians in the Calgary Stampede. Moving to the West Coast, she was cast as a blind child in The Miracle Worker.   Tiffany is thrilled to be part of the World Kindness Concert 2008 and is so happy to be supporting Brock and Kindness Awareness.  Tiffany currently sings r & b, soul, funk and classic rock with Vancouver's dance party band, Rhythm Method.

Veronica Iza

Veronica Iza, an untouched talent, unique voice and gentle touch with her soul-filled sounds.  This Uruguayan born diva dives into her passion for music and making a difference in the world, one life at a time, one day at a time.  Her life story is full of miracles and  triumphs.She performed at the Great Canadian Music Dream hosted by CBC in 2002, the Victoria Electronic Music Festival as well as many other local Victorian venues.Just about to hit the CBC studio to record, Veronica keeps busy with her artistic endeavours gathering plenty of inspiration along the way.

Susan Jacks

Susan Jacks is one of eight children and was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. At the age of 7, she began singing on the radio on Saturday afternoons.  After moving to British Columbia when she was 9, Susan began singing in the school and church choirs.  She was given her own radio show when she was 14 and, at 15, became a regular performer on the CBC series Music Hop.  Susan and Terry Jacks formed the Poppy Family with Craig McCaw and Satwant Singh when she was 18 and the group become internationally recognized with their hit song “Which Way You Goin’ Billy?”  She continued with a successful solo career after the group disbanded, releasing such hits as “All The Tea In China”, Anna Marie” and “I Thought Of You Again”.  Susan spent many years in Nashville as a staff songwriter before returning to Vancouver in 2005, resuming her performing and recording career.

"I've been singing since I learned how to make sound and have enjoyed over thirty years of experience as a successful voice teacher, performing artist, published songwriter, vocal producer, artist manager, musical theatre vocal coach and mother of two daughters pursuing their own careers in the entertainment industry.  I am a level 2 certified SPEECH LEVEL SINGING teacher,(www.speechlevelsinging.com)  which means I have successfully completed the necessary requirements within the SLS system, including specific testing necessary to continuation and advancement.

Michaela Slinger

Michaela is thirteen years old, and was born to entertain. She has been performing publicly since the age of three; for the NBA Vancouver Grizzlies, Canucks and Whitecaps games, at the PNE, as well as the lead in numerous theatrical productions including Annie, and The Wizard of Oz, and played the role of "Young Anne" in Anne Of Green Gables with the Lindbjerg Academy of Performing Arts in Port Moody. She played the lead in Peter Pan, as well as the role of "Annie" in Footlight's production at the Shadboldt Theatre. This year, she is performinmg in Grease with the Lindbjerg Academy.  She is honoured to again be performing in the World Kindness Concert.

Aaron Junior Turner

Aaron Junior (AJ) Turner is a native of the San Francisco bay area where he studied music and theatre. He graduated from Sonoma State University in 2003 with a BFA in performing arts/theatre. In July 2005 he and his spouse, Jennifer, immigrated to BC after spending an amazing honeymoon in Vancouver earlier the same year. Some of his favorite credits include Beggars Holiday (Sneaky Pete), The Magic Flute (Tamino), How the Other Half Loves (Bob Phillips), and African American Shakespeare Company’s Beast [Beauty and the Beast], Quarterlife Musical (Julius) and Little Shop of Horrors, where he played Audrey II (the voice of the plant). Select TV credits include The Andromeda Strain (Private Connors) and the short film Ashes Fall.. Remember, " Please protect our oceans and the fellow earthlings within it, thank you!"

Shari Ulrich

Originally a California girl, Shari's career through the Pumkin, Valdy & The Hometown Band, and on as a solo singer songwriter is legendary. BC Entertainment Hall of Fame Inductee and Juno award winner Ulrich has never waned in her passion and love for making music. She also tours & records with Barney Bentall & Tom Taylor, Pied Pumkin, and Bill Henderson & Roy Forbes (UHF), and produces the popular Bluebird North series.  She is thrilled to be finally releasing a new solo album.  www.shariulrich.com

Michael Vincent

A former teen-idol & recording artist, Michael Vincent has made approximately 100 TV appearances. Michael recorded with Polydor and Atlantic –performing across the continent and around the world.  His recent recording with BIG BLACK DOG saw the band nominated nationally for a Smooth Jazz award in 2007.  His latest solo CD called, THANK YOU was just released, on Boutique Records, with a mix of original tunes and classic favorites.  “…an amazing soulful voice…” says John P McLaughlin, of The Province. Bill SampleBill Sample has been a force in the West Coast music scene for many years, recording and performing with some of the most dedicated and talented artists today. As Music Director for David Foster for 8 years, Bill has worked with mega-stars like Brian Adams, Celine Dion, Fee Waybill (Tubes), Boz Scaggs and Kenny Loggins. He is also involved in the Variety Club Telethon, Telemiracle in Saskatchewan, and many other organizations.

Shawn SoucyA Juno nominee and BC CMA's "All-Star Drummer" winner 5-years in a row, Shawn's live and recorded credits include work with Susan Jacks, The Who's "Tommy", Holly Arntzen, One Horse Blue, Russell Marsland, Ellen Macllwayne, Patricia Conroy, Doug and the Slugs, Farmer's Daughter and Gary Fjellgaard. Shawn has also been a member of local party favorites, "The Hitmen", for 10 years!  Shawn also has his own multi - media company and has produced many promo and performance DVDs for local artists.

Eric ReedMulti- instrumentalist Eric Reed has been a career musician for over 15 years, touring internationally, providing strong, tasteful licks and rhythms wherever he goes. His substantial musicianship covers mandolin, accordion, acoustic/electric/slide guitar, dobro and banjo! Eric is also a seasoned studio session player, producer, engineer and songwriter too.

Nathen AstwellPro Studio and Concert Bassist, whose Performance Credits include many shows with David Foster, featuring: Celine Dion and the Atlanta Symphony, Richard Marx and the Chicago Symphony, Bryan Adams, Peter Cetera, Chicago, Kenny Loggins, & Boz Scaggs. Brian has performed with the legendary Ray Charles, and was a member of the renowned Canadian Rock Group Chilliwack. His Recording Credits include: 98 Degrees, Heart, Jim Brickman, Michelle Wright, & Alpha Yaya Diallo (Juno Award '99 and '01). He has also won "Bassist of the Year" from the CARAS West Coast Music Awards.
